Marisella Queen

Marisella Queen, owner of Evolve Pilates NW,  has logged hundreds of hours of training and continuing education in her 14 years as a Physical Therapist.  Her many years of experience and training have allowed her to observe the movement of countless bodies and from these observations, she has realized that many physical limitations are due to problematic posture, alignment, or need for greater Core Strength.

Using Pilates STOTT® training techniques, Marisella specializes in teaching clients how to improve their lives by improving their posture, enhancing their flexibility, or building up their core.   Although her classes and studio are not medical treatments for her Members, Marisella will still work with you to set realistic goals, come up with a training plan, and monitor and gauge your progress over time.

Marisella received her Doctorate in in Physical Therapy in June 2006 from the Rehab School of Medicine of the University of Washington.

To keep herself healthy, she practices Pilates, runs, walks, hikes, cycles, does Yoga and dance when she can get her husband to dress up. Pilates is central to her workouts, as it reminds her of the mind-body connection, and is a place to find balance from a hectic world filled with noise.

She is the mother to two young boys as well as the most-loving dog, and is happily married.  At the studio, her dog (Hershey) will greet everyone at the door - she is hypo-allergenic and doesn't shed or activate allergies.  We look forward to seeing you in the studio soon, or even in the comfort of your home through a Zoom Class.
